Jody Berenblatt, has testified on postal policy before the US Senate, and worked with the USPS and the PRC on postal issues. She has held positions as SVP of Global Postal Strategy at Bank of America, Director of Postal Commerce and Distribution at Time Warner, Inc. and Director, Mailing Services for the Columbia House Company. Jody served on the Board of the Association for Postal Commerce (Postcom) for more than 15 years, including serving as Vice Chair from 2005-2009 and as Chair of that board in early 2010. For her work in the postal industry, Berenblatt was honored with the Association of Postal Commerce’s prestigious Stan Woodruff award in 2008.
Berenblatt is the Executive Director of the Continuity Shippers Association and continues to be actively engaged in many workgroups under the Mailers Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC). Beta tester by nature: Jody participated in USPS Earned Value Program, USPS Secure Destruction Program & now the USPS Informed Visibility pilot.
Brian Bowers, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Bell and Howell, has over 20 years’ experience in the mailing industry, during which he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge of the various technologies used in the mailing industry. He has over 30 years of engineering experience in hardware and software development in five different industries. In addition to development experience, Brian has many years of operations and manufacturing experience, with concentrations in Lean Manufacturing and design. With extensive experience in the mail sorting industry, Brian is considered an industry resource by Bell and Howell’s customer base.
Bowers is an active member of the postal ecosystem, serving on the Board of Directors and strategic planning council of the National Association of Presort Mailers (NAPM), represents the Global Address Data Association (GADA) on the Mailers Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC), is a past speaker at the National Postal Forum, and has been granted over 18 patents in the mailing industry. Bernhard Bukovc, Managing Director of the Postal Innovation Platform (PIP), an initiative focusing on the future for the postal industry with a solution-oriented approach. PIP operates under the umbrella of an academic research center (EPFL-MIR based in Lausanne, Switzerland), the Universal Postal Union, and Swiss Post. It is an open platform inviting all postal industry stakeholders to join, contribute and thus create innovation, value and solutions for the postal sector. He previously worked for the Austrian Post as Director of Regulatory Affairs, and served as the Director of Inter-company Pricing and Regulation at the International Post Corporation in Brussels for over five years. Among his current activities Bernhard is also a management trainer, moderator at various conferences and the co-editor of a publication on postal services in the digital age.
Bernhard is also an entrepreneur, who founded and manages Vinaficio, an e-marketplace that supports European wineries. Studying and working on eCommerce and cross-border issues for many years Bernhard put his knowledge to practice and launched together with his partners his eCommerce company which connects today buyers and sellers across nine European countries, providing full logistics, payment, tax and duty administration support. Bernhard holds a LL.M from George Washington University and a J.D. from the University of Graz, Austria.

Ian Kerr has over a decade of experience at the Post Office Agents Association Limited (POAAL), the national association for small business owners in the Australian postal sector. He has a deep understanding of the Australian postal network, both in retail and delivery, having also worked in post offices and sorting centres. Ian grew up in a family-run post office, and was once able to hand-cancel letters at a furious pace. Ian is the founder and host of the Postal Hub Podcast, the weekly podcast for the global postal sector.
Gina is the Founder of Circular CoLab, an organization dedicated to the creation of the Circular Economy. Gina has over 15 years of experience working in Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Impact in the United States, China, and Germany. Her past roles include overseeing partnerships with Fortune 500 corporations and top-tier business schools for the Aspen Institute, working with the Schwarz Group in materials management, and leading programming and corporate relations for Mercy Corps Beijing. She is skilled in engaging with organizations from across the policy, government and private sector and has managed workshops and pilot programs with organizations including TEDxLA, the American Sustainable Business Council, and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator. Gina has a BA in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She believes that social entrepreneurs will change the world and is a judge for the Echoing Green Fellowship Program and a Mentor for the Mentor Capital Network.
David Lione, Senior Enterprise Account Director at OpenMarket, sells global messaging services to large enterprises in the financial services and logistics industries. He works with new and existing accounts to find ways in which SMS (text messaging) can be used to deliver a better customer experience and improve operational efficiencies. Prior to joining OpenMarket, David was a Senior Sales Executive at mBlox, where he consistently secured new accounts and increased top-line revenue over a 10-year period. David has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in wireless, data center, and IP networks. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College.

Katherine “Kate” Muth is executive director of the International Mailers’ Advisory Group (IMAG), a trade association representing a diverse community of marketers, consolidators, and international mailing organizations. IMAG’s core mission is to address barriers to the efficient flow of information and goods across borders for companies utilizing postal services.
She is also president of Muth Communications, a small business that provides a wide range of editorial and communication services to clients, focusing on consulting, technical writing, trade reporting, white papers, social media messaging, and editing. She is widely considered an expert on postal and mailing industry issues having served for four years as vice president of the Association for Postal Commerce in the mid-2000s and prior to that as editor of the award-winning trade publication Business Mailers Review for nearly a decade. Kate continues to study and write on postal topics ranging from policy to operational issues and has been a contributor to trade publications, including Mailing Systems Technology and the Prescott Report. She has written white papers and provided speechwriting for many postal industry clients, including the Mailers Council, The Coalition for a 21st Century Postal Service, and the Office of Inspector General.
Mari-Ellen Testa is a Director in the PwC Washington Federal Practice focused on business development and delivery of multi-disciplinary solutions, with an emphasis on IT program management, financial management, and change management services for the General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Labor, Department of Energy and the U.S. Postal Service. She has over 27 years of experience helping federal clients improve their people, processes and use of technology. Mari-Ellen has significant experience leading transformation initiatives, and helped several agencies evaluate their back office support functions to increase efficiencies, achieve economies of scale, lower costs and explore service delivery models to better focus limited resources on mission activities. She currently leads an initiative to effect behavior change within the GSA’s Facilities Management and Service Program (FMSP) to help building managers adapt to changing competency requirements and building technologies.
Mari-Ellen is a leader in PwC’s Finance Competency, leading Public Sector Shared Services intellectual capital development and training courses. She also serves on the board of the DC Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants.
