USPS Vice Presidents to Speak at PostalVision Event

PostalVision 2020 is pleased to announce two more speakers have been added to its agenda for the upcoming June 5-7, 2019, event to be held at The Ritz Carlton Pentagon City – Kevin McAdams, USPS Vice President, Delivery Operations; and Gary Reblin, USPS Vice President of Product Innovation.  McAdams will join Wayne Haubner, Chief Technology Officer at the Escher Group, and Brad Ruffkess, Founder of BoxLock; to discuss value chain opportunities in the first and last mile.   Reblin joins former CEO of Bell and Howell Dr. Ramesh Ratan, American Catalog Mailers Association (ACMA) president and executive director Hamilton Davison, and Tripp Corbett, Esri, discuss opportunities and new business innovation.

Kevin McAdams
Vice President, Delivery Operations
U. S. Postal Service (USPS)

Kevin L. McAdams was named vice president, Delivery Operations in June 2016. He reports to the chief operating officer and executive vice president.  In this position, McAdams has responsibility for all aspects of delivery operations within the Postal Service network of 154 million households and businesses. He oversees city and rural delivery operations and evaluates field performance measures to improve service and productivity. He also manages Delivery Strategy and Planning and a fleet of more than 200,000 vehicles.

In April 2016, McAdams was named the acting vice president, Area Operations, Capital Metro Area. Before his role as vice president, Capital Metro Area, McAdams held the position of manager, Operations Support, Capital Metro Area position. In this role, he was responsible for guiding efficient day-to-day processing, transportation, delivery and customer service operations in a dense geographic area that included more than 16 million customers. McAdams served as the district manager of Mid-Carolina District, Northern Virginia District, Central Pennsylvania District and Baltimore District. As the executive postmaster of Philadelphia, McAdams began building his strong foundation and proven performance in delivery operations and customer satisfaction.

A 39 year postal veteran, McAdams began his career as a letter-sorting machine clerk in Van Nuys, CA. He attended California State University, Northridge; studied business management at the University of Phoenix; is a graduate of the Postal Service’s Advanced Leadership Program; and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

 

Gary Reblin
Vice President, Product Innovation
U.S. Postal Service

Gary Reblin was named vice president of Product Innovation in October 2016. In this role, he is responsible for product development for all mail and shipping products as well as innovation as USPS integrates with emerging technologies. Reblin reports to the chief customer and marketing officer and executive vice president.

Prior to this position, Reblin was vice president of New Products and Innovation from December 2012 until October 2016. Before that, he was vice president Domestic Products from January 2011, until December 2012. He was vice president of Shipping Services from May 2010, until January 2011. He was also vice president of Expedited Shipping from March 2008, until May 2010, where he oversaw Express Mail and Priority Mail products and services and was responsible for developing programs to maximize their profitability and value.

A 23-year postal veteran, Reblin has led many successful product and service innovations, including developing most of the popular Flat Rate and Regional Rate Products and Every Door Direct Mail. He was previously the manager of Intelligent Mail Planning and Standards, where he led the Postal Service’s efforts to upgrade its technical infrastructure and develop the Intelligent Mail barcode.  He has also served in other key management positions in Engineering, where he helped set the strategic direction for letter and flat automation programs.

Reblin holds a degree in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University.
