 “Return to the Future”

Registration Now OPEN!

July 2, 2018 (Arlington, Va.)  –  PostalVision 2020 and the Reverse Logistics Association (RLA) are pleased to announce registration is now OPEN for its collaborative one-day event to be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 — “Return to the Future.”  This one-day “excursion” will be focused on the growing opportunities, challenges, innovations and more being seen with product returns and reverse logistics.  The event will be held at the Schar School of Policy and Government, Founders Hall, George Mason University, in Arlington, VA.

Consumers are demanding fast, easy, and inexpensive product returns options.  Shippers are scurrying to develop low-cost and customer-centric services for consumer returns.  Retailers are exploring different returns models that keep customers happy but also keep their costs of returns under control, or even make returns a profit center for the business!  And there is an entire supply chain for processing and transporting product returns that in many ways differs from outgoing product processing and delivery.  The “reverse logistics” supply chain includes businesses that not only provide shipping/transportation solutions, but also businesses that inspect product returns to determine next steps and destination, businesses that sell product returns on secondary markets, businesses that warehouse and inventory returns, and a host of software and system providers linking and passing information within a complex supply chain.

Speakers and panelists for the event will be announced in the coming weeks and will include representatives from academia, the USPS, shippers/carriers and other supply chain businesses, retailers, and more!   If you are interested in participating as a speaker/panelist, please contact us.

For more information or to Register to attend the event, check out the PostalVision 2020 web site.  For information on sponsor and exhibit opportunities, contact John Sasso or John Callan.
