Reserve your seat NOW, because returning to PostalVision 2020’s center stage at its April 3-5, 2018, event will be renowned headline speaker John Hagel of Deloitte’s “Center for the Edge” Silicon Valley think-tank.
John previously appeared at PostalVision’s annual event in 2015, where he spoke about the premise of his book, “The Power of Pull,” and helped us comprehend the growing empowerment of the consumer and its influence on ecommerce delivery — which actually led to our addressing the concept in depth at the following year’s conference in 2016, that we themed “B2Me.”
John will be kicking off the PostalVision 2020/8.0 April 2018 event with his observations about the challenges of the new digital economy and his opinions about its influence on the postal ecosystem. John has observed that “the rapid advance of technologies has outpaced the ability of many institutions to understand and take advantage of the new opportunities they enable, resulting in anxiety and discontent.” And as noted in a recent interview with Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist and renowned author Tom Friedman, John also has a keen interest in the “growth of digital technology infrastructures and the increasing importance of richer knowledge flows on a global scale.”
“We are tremendously excited to have John Hagel back at PostalVision,” said PostalVision Founder and Chairman John Callan. “John’s insight and the work being done by the Center for the Edge are a great fit with what PostalVision is trying to achieve,” Callan said, “and John’s willingness to return to PostalVision is testament to the reputation we have achieved in the larger postal-logistics-delivery ecosystem to engage industry leaders.”
Deloitte’s Center for the Edge develops original research and substantive perspectives on new corporate growth. Based in Silicon Valley, with teams in Europe and Australia, it helps senior executives make sense of and profit from emerging opportunities on the edge of business and technology.
